Smoked Pork Chops in Pickled Chipotle Sauce
Time: 50 minutes
Servings: 6
Ingredients
- 12 smoked pork-chops
- 5 tomatoes
- 1/4 onion
- 2 garlic
- El Pirata D’Córdoba Pickled Chipotle Peppers (2 or 3 peppers)
- 1 cup (250ml) of vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup water
Steps
- Start with the sauce. Grill tomatoes, onion and garlic. Then, place grilled vegetables in a blender with El Pirata D’Córdoba Pickled Chipotle Peppers and water.
- Blend well, strain, then lightly fry sauce in a pan with 2 tablespoons of oil.
- Pan-fry the smoked pork-chops separately with some oil.
- Warm-up sauce before serving, then place pork chops on serving place and pour sauce on top, covering them well.
- Serving suggestion: accompany with refried beans.
